Lean Manufacturing: Waste Elimination and Process Improvement Training at Oriental Eden
Visi Armada Consulting delivered this engagement. Lead trainer: Husni Halim.

About the training
Husni Halim delivered "Lean Manufacturing: Waste Elimination and Process Improvement" as a 1-day in-house training for Oriental Eden at the client's plant in Puchong, Selangor, on 26 October 2026.
The class brought together production, quality and operations staff, supervisors, line leaders and some operators, so the people who run the line and the people who check it worked through the same problems together.
What the course covered
The day ran through seven modules: Lean and customer value; the 8 wastes; spotting waste on the line with process mapping and yield-loss points; problem solving with Pareto, fishbone and PDCA; a line application workshop; sustaining improvement; and a closing session.
Delivery followed a learn, discover, apply, present format. Participants mapped the process steps and identified the wastes themselves rather than being handed a list.
Line application workshop
In groups of 3 to 5, participants chose a pilot area and built a 30-day countermeasure plan for it, then presented the plan to the class. Each plan linked the wastes they had found to a root cause and a practical action for the shop floor.
