In-house Lean Six Sigma training ยท September 2026
Lean Six Sigma for Efficiency & Cost Reduction at Roland Manufacturing Malaysia
Visi Armada Consulting delivered this engagement. Lead trainer: Husni Halim.

About the engagement
Husni Halim delivered "Lean Six Sigma for Efficiency & Cost Reduction" as a 2-day in-house programme for Roland Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Port Klang on 9โ10 September 2026.
The aim was to shift the mindset from working harder to working smarter: reduce the cost of poor quality, shorten manufacturing lead times, and use data rather than intuition to solve production bottlenecks.
What the programme covered
Day 1 focused on lean thinking and waste elimination: the origins of Lean (Toyota Production System) and Six Sigma, the 8 wastes (DOWNTIME), and lean tools for efficiency including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Just-in-Time and Kanban.
Day 2 moved into Six Sigma methodology and process control: the DMAIC framework, process variation and sigma levels, root cause analysis with the fishbone diagram and 5 Whys, poka-yoke, visual management, control plans and standard work. Participants also worked on calculating and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Delivery used a customised case study, role play and group presentations so participants could apply the tools to their own production context.
